In February, Associated Press reporter Kathy Matheson stopped by the Anthropology Lab at Temple University to check out the work we were doing. She got a first hand glimpse of artifact processing, and we got a chance to talk about the project. Earlier in January, Associated Press photographer Matt Rourke had snapped some photos as we were cleaning artifacts.
